Sean-Hargrave-Freelance-Journalist

Sean Hargrave – Freelance Journalist, Comms Specialist, White Paper Writer and Media Trainer

I trained at EMAP (remember them?) and then worked in London on consumer magazines. After spending the 90s as Innovation Editor at The Sunday Times, I have spent the last twenty years as a freelance journalist covering technology, start-ups and business issues for The Guardian and The Telegraph.

I specialise in digital marketing, writing for the likes of Econsultancy, Marketing Week, The Drum and Mediapost.com, as well as the now-closed New Media Age. Telling a data-led story through compelling research is a passion, hence I am a white paper writer for Econsultancy and London Research.

I also undertake guest blogging and thought leadership pieces for clients to help them find their voice, and their audience.

All this puts me in a good place to hold relaxing, but informative, media training sessions where attendees learn the most valuable lessons in being interviewed. The mic is never off and it’s a chance for you to tell your story.

I moved out to the Oxfordshire countryside, near Oxford, when The Sunday Times’ Innovation section closed with my wife and, since then, three children and a Cocker Spaniel.
